Do you agree or trust that these statements are accurate?

I was researching some economic and tax issues from various studies and found similar statements among them. The studies were from a range of public and private institutions and economists in reference to assistance programs to help low income wage earners.

"all economists agree that means-tested programs, even the EITC, create disincentives. "

"it reduces the incentive for those already working to work as many hours as before."

"the net effect is an increase in the supply of workers, which causes wages to fall. This downward pressure on wages is not negated by the minimum wage,"
